We are not sure if in some ancient convent not far from the Alps or in the northern plains toward the sea, a monk made something similar in past centuries. There are ideas that are repeated in men’s minds in different times and places. We have chosen seven herbs from the permanent pastures in Friuli, protected oases touched by man only to safeguard the natural environment. Folk wisdom and legend mix in the intense aromas of Achillea, Creeping Thyme, Centaurium Erythraea, Wild Catmint, Plantain, Lady’s Bedstraw and Thistle.
