Rum Cubaney

We have crossed the ocean to discover a story similar to our own, a story of emigration, experience and passion. In the 1700s the Spaniard Don Juanillo Oliver reached Cuba and started farming tobacco and sugar cane as well as distilling rum. Then, after almost two centuries, the revolution in 1959 forced the Oliver family to move to lush and sensual Santo Domingo, where economic and social conditions were more favorable. Here, between white beaches and infinite blue seas, the production of aguardiente continued in the same Cuban spirit and tradition.
The distillate ages up to twenty-five years in oak casks, passionately and carefully overseen by the Oliver family. When tasting it, your senses dance to creamy notes of wood and dried fruit, are indulged by vanilla and chocolate and get lost in the echo of a distant Merengue.
