Prime Sagrantino di Montefalco – Vendemmia 2004

This original spirit is created with Sagrantino di Montefalco grapes, a native variety with a distinctive character and limited production. After the harvest, the grapes are subject to soft pressing and fermented under control. This is followed by distilling in exclusive boule – shape copper stills, operating vacuum sealed at low temperatures. The resulting spirit is then left to mature in small barrels previously used for Sagrantino di Montefalco wine, which give it its full-bodied flavour without, however, hindering the typical fresh quality of the fruit of origin. Each stage of the process is designed to best safeguard the primary aromas of particularly exquisite grapes.
Aroma: a persistent bouquet, reminiscent of wild flowers and berries.
Palate: a spicy taste, with hints of cinnamon, vanilla and tobacco.
Aftertaste: round and vigorous.
