Exquisite assembly of mature rums distilled from sugarcane juice slowly fermented and aged for up to 5 years.
Ron Botran Añejo Reserva is aged under the Solera System at 2,400 meters above sea level, in American white oak barrels, new and charred, which previously held American Whiskey and aged old Sherry Wines and finally are placed in Port barrels. Finally, Ron for this Reserva Blanca is filtered thru natural charcoal to reach an almost complete crystal clear color, but retaining the complex wood notes acquired by the Four Woods Aging system.
BODY: mildly dense.
NOSE: sweet and balanced notes of both sugar cane and wood.
PALATE: light and delicate fruity sensations. Rare complexity and structure for a white rum.
